While the Mr needs a lot of substance and comfort (and meat) in his meals at the end of the day, I’m always happy to create something simple with whatever I can find in the kitchen. Since he’s gone for training, I’ve gotten a kick out of seeing what I can dish up out of a seemingly empty fridge. It’s strangely gratifying, and the wallet and the waistline are definitely better off.
But needless to say, I’m ready to fill up the fridge with comfort food and share the dinner table again.
